This is a Chinese Hexagonal Faceted Colored Quarts (Banded Agate) Snuff Bottle, its form and flare neck reminiscent of bottles produced during the Imperial Phase of the Quianlong Period of Japan (see photo #9), with precise symmetrical cuts, artificially colored during the 20th century, according to Bob C. Stevens, in his book "The Collector Book of Snuff Bottles", images 151 and 152, page 144. Well-hollowed, with Jade stopper, as shown in the listed photos, in remarkable preserved condition. This is an Extremely Rare find. There is no other example of this type of snuff bottle that I could find as being offered for sale during the past ten years. The only reference of similar bottles is on page 144 (photo #10) of the the 'Collector s Book of Snuff Bottles" by Bob C. Stevens. Of course, given its rarity, it is priced a little bit more than the Chinese replicas that most of you are used to getting on this or equivalent media. Only a serious collector and connoisseur of fine snuff bottles is able to recognize its importance as a collectible item, and knows its real value.
