This is an Early Apple Green and Gray Snuff Bottle, 1730 - 1780 This is a well-hollowed, very flattened, Spade shaped, jadeite jade Snuff Bottle of mostly apple green color with clouds of gray, and dark green spots. It has a flair neck, and It has a spade shaped with round slopping shoulders and a very small oval shaped footing. It comes with a very rare collar and dome made of brown jade with an orange color agate finial; probably original to the bottle, because it fits its mouth perfectly, and I have never seen another stopper like it. Its form is typical of some 18^th^ or early 19th century snuff bottles. <br /> It is in excellently preserved original condition. Bottle Measurements Height: 2.058 inches (5.2cm) - not including stopper Width: 1.90 inches (4.8cm) Thickness: 0.55 inches (1.4cm) Weight: 2.0 ounces An similar form snuff bottle is illustrated in 'The Collector's Book of Snuff Bottles
