This is a finely carved Celadon Jade Snuff Bottle, in rectangular form, with rounded shoulders tapering towards base, with raised footing. It is carved in Soochow-style relief taking advantage of the white outer layer skin to show the image of Buddha, with a Peony tree branch on his right, on one side, and a Koi fish among a Lotus plant on the other side. outer with the image of Buddha with the form of a Lobed Gourd. It comes with a celadon jade stopper with black collar. This great looking bottle is in excellent preserved condition.
