This is a 19th century, finely carved Celadon Jade Snuff Bottle, carved from a pebble in the form of a Gourd with insects and leaves. It is a mostly of natural celadon color ground with some russet skin that has been carved as vines that wrap around and the sides of the gourd. It comes with small thin coral stopper with spoon. This great looking bottle is in excellent preserved condition. This bottle appears to have been used as a pendant (observed the hole that is located on the upper left - 1st photo) before it was converted into a snuff bottle.
