FAMILLE ROSE, 'Magpie' and 'Plum Blossom' Porcelain Snuff Bottle, Yongzheng Mark and Period, 1723-1735 This is a fine Famille Rose Enameled Porcelain Snuff Bottle, of rounded rectangular form tapering towards base, with rounded sloping shoulders, a rounded neck and wide mouth, resting on a slightly convex circular foot inscribed in iron-red with a four-character Yongzheng mark. The bottle following form characteristics of similar bottles made during the XVIII century. The body of the bottle meticulously painted with famille rose enamel colors with a scene of magpie birds circling and resting on a blossomed plum tree. It comes with a tangerine color agate stopper.
