This is an exquisitely finely carved Pale Celadon Jade figure of a Meiren, standing while holding a Basket with Flowers. The stone is of a flawless color all throughout. Meiren (Beautiful Lady Yu - Han Dynasty - Emperor Shun of Han consort and Emperor Chong's mother) is adorned with flowers on her head, and a veil that encircles her waist appears gracefully floating in the air. This excellent rendition of the Beautiful Consort Yu Meiren, is in excellent preserved condition.
